## Overview

Agency Handy is a client portal and operations tool for agencies. It covers the commercial side of running an agency: a service catalog, orders, proposals, invoicing, a CRM, projects, tasks and a branded portal for clients.

It's aimed at small and mid-size agencies that sell defined services, one-time or recurring. You can sell services through a public link or embed them on your website, collect onboarding details with intake forms and turn orders into projects. Agency Handy doesn't state a founding year or headquarters on its site.

Every plan includes unlimited clients and projects, and pricing steps up with the number of users and workspaces rather than clients. With 10 users on the $99 plan, it's one of the more affordable options here for a mid-sized agency team.

## Key features

### Service catalog and selling

You can sell one-time and recurring services, packaged offers and add-ons, with coupons and free trials. Each service can have several pricing tiers and defined deliverables. Services can be sold through a public link or an iFrame on your website.

### Intake and public forms

Project intake forms collect onboarding information from new clients, and public forms collect responses from anyone. Fields can be copied between forms to save setup time.

### Proposals

You can create proposals, send them, track them in real time and download or share them.

### Invoicing and payments

Invoices can be linked to services, use reusable templates and tax rates, and go out by email or as payment links. Statuses run from Draft to Sent, Viewed and Paid, and automatic payment reminders and recurring retainer billing are included. Payments run through Stripe, PayPal, Wise, crypto or manual methods.

### Projects and tasks

Projects link to clients and services, with status stages, custom properties such as priority and budget, and filters. Tasks can have more than one assignee. List and other task views help a team see who's working on what.

### CRM

Leads and clients move through stages, get owners and convert to clients, with custom fields, CSV import and export, and a profile for each client. Leads are capped at 100 on Freelancer, 300 on Team Starter and 10,000 on Business Pro.

### Branding, integrations and AI credits

Custom branding covers your logo, name, timezone, language and currency on all plans, with a custom domain and email from Team Starter. Slack, the API and webhooks also start there. Each plan includes AI credits (1,000, 5,000 or 12,000 a month), but Agency Handy's pages don't describe what they're used for.

## What it's like for your clients

Clients get a branded portal where they can order services, see progress and pay invoices. For an agency selling packaged services, that keeps ordering, delivery and billing in one place, which is easier for clients than separate links for each. Because orders come from a catalog you define, clients choose from clear options instead of describing the work from scratch. After buying, a client completes an intake form and gets direct portal access, so onboarding starts without a separate kickoff email.

Your team can impersonate a client to see the portal exactly as they do, which helps when setting it up. Agency Handy's homepage says clients see project progress, payments and feedback in the portal, can comment directly on shared files, and can view and act on proposals. Its pages don't describe how clients sign in, whether they can chat with you in the portal, or whether there's a mobile app. Invoice emails and automatic payment reminders are the client emails it does describe. Test the client side during the 7-day trial, which includes all features with no card.

There's no automated follow-up on requests described on paper, so requests still need clarifying by your team and quiet clients still need nudging. On the Freelancer plan, the portal runs without your own domain.

## Strengths
- Service catalog, orders and invoicing
- Unlimited clients and projects
- 10 users on Team Starter

## Limitations
- Custom domain not on Freelancer
- Slack and API only from Team Starter
- No free plan

## Pricing
Freelancer is $29 a month for 1 user, 1 workspace and 100 leads. Team Starter is $99 for 10 users, 1 workspace and 300 leads. Business Pro is $199 for 30 users, 5 workspaces and 10,000 leads. Yearly list prices are $349, $1,189 and $2,389. There's a 7-day trial with no card. When we checked, the pricing page also showed a lifetime option and promo codes, and one view marked Freelancer as sold out. Agency Handy's FAQ says cancelling stops renewal at the end of the billing cycle, with no refund.

A 5-person team with 10 clients needs Team Starter at $99 a month, since Freelancer allows only 1 user. Team Starter covers up to 10 users, so the team could double without the price changing, and it adds the custom domain, Slack and the API. Clients are unlimited on every plan.

A 3-person team also pays $99 on Team Starter, because there's no plan between 1 and 10 users. A 15-person team needs Business Pro at $199, which covers up to 30 users and adds more workspaces and leads. A solo agency owner can run on Freelancer at $29 if they don't need a custom domain. At list price, yearly billing works out to about the same as paying monthly ($1,189 a year for Team Starter against $1,188 for twelve monthly payments); the discounts come from promo codes, which change.

- Freelancer: $29/mo (1 user)
- Team Starter: $99/mo (10 users, custom domain)
- Business Pro: $199/mo (30 users)

## Who it's for

A good fit if:
- Agencies selling defined services that want orders and invoicing in the portal
- Teams of up to 10 people who want one flat price
- Agencies that want a CRM and proposals in the same tool
- Agencies with recurring retainers that want automatic billing and payment reminders
- Agencies that sell services from their own website through a link or embed

Look elsewhere if:
- Solo freelancers who want a custom domain, since it starts on Team Starter
- Teams that want a free plan to start
- Teams that want requests briefed and clients followed up automatically
- Buyers who want clear documentation of what the AI features do
- Buyers who want a refund if they cancel mid-cycle, since the FAQ says there's none

## Alternatives

- **ManyRequests**: ManyRequests adds a request queue, pinned proofing and time tracking for productized agencies. Pick it if creative approvals matter more than a built-in CRM.
- **Zendo**: Zendo offers a service catalog with order forms, checkout and a free plan for 3 clients. Pick it if you're a solo operator who wants to start free.
- **Dora**: Dora takes client follow-up off your team with an AI account manager that briefs requests and chases sign-off. Pick it if follow-up is the bigger problem and you'll keep invoicing elsewhere.

## The verdict

Agency Handy covers a lot of agency operations for a fair price: a service catalog you can sell from your website, intake forms, proposals, invoicing with reminders and retainers, a CRM, projects and 10 users on the $99 Team Starter plan. Its public pages say little about the client side of the portal or what its AI credits do, and there's no free plan. Choose it if you sell defined services and want ordering and billing in the portal, and plan to handle client follow-up yourself. Ignore the promo banners when comparing prices and use the list prices above.
