Overview
Zendo is a client portal for selling and delivering productized, subscription and custom services. Clients browse your service catalog, order through a form with checkout, and then track and receive the work in the same portal.
It was founded in 2021 and is based in Katowice, Poland, according to its site. Its pitch is a low-cost way to sell and deliver services: a free plan, no transaction fees on any plan, and order forms you can link straight from a button on your website.
Zendo supports three kinds of services: productized, subscription and custom. Each one can carry its own payment rule, whether up front, split or on delivery, and subscriptions bill automatically. That flexibility makes it a reasonable fit for freelancers and small agencies that mix packaged offers with one-off work, as long as the team stays small, since each extra internal user costs more.
Key features
Service catalog and order forms
Each service has its own order form with a unique URL, so you can link it from a button on your website. Order forms take unlimited custom fields, and you can require details up front, such as budget or urgency. The free plan allows 1 published service, Core allows 3 and Pro allows unlimited.
Flexible payments with no transaction fees
Payments run through Stripe, with one-click checkout in the communication feed, or by bank transfer. You can take payment up front, split or on delivery, set a default per service and adjust it per client. Zendo takes no transaction fee on any plan.
Quotes, invoices and subscriptions
Quotes, invoices and payment requests can go out automatically and are emailed as PDFs. Subscription services bill automatically, and clients are notified of pending payment requests.
Statuses and request views
Clients follow progress through statuses that you can customize, with no limit on how many. Your team sees requests in list, table or Kanban views, and client profiles store each client's history, orders and requests. For a small team, the Kanban view is a quick way to see what's in progress and what's waiting on a client.
Real-time chat and email replies
A real-time chat acts as the communication hub for each client, and clients can reply to email notifications instead of logging in.
Automations on Pro
Pro adds automations, Zapier, a custom domain and custom email, unlimited services and 500GB of storage. Customizable workflows help with routine steps like moving an order to the next status.
Branding and integrations
Your logo and accent color appear on all plans. Custom domain and email start on Pro, and removing 'Powered by Zendo' plus custom CSS and JavaScript need Agency. Zendo connects with Stripe, Zapier and Rewardful and embeds apps like Figma, Google Docs and Calendly.
What it's like for your clients
Clients get a store-like experience. They click an order button on your site, fill in the order form, pay and land in the portal, where they can follow progress through your statuses. For productized offers, that's clear and fast, and it saves sending quotes and invoices for standard work. Custom services can start with a quote instead.
Ongoing communication happens in a real-time chat, and clients can reply to email notifications, which helps clients who don't want to log in for every message. Zendo's public pages don't describe how clients sign in, how files are shared or approved, or whether there's a mobile app. Test those during the 14-day Pro trial, which needs no card.
Zendo lists no AI features or automated follow-up. If an order form misses a detail or a client goes quiet, your team follows up by hand. Required fields on order forms reduce the first problem, and automations on Pro can take care of some routine steps, but the conversation with the client stays manual.
Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Free plan for 3 clients
- Service catalog with order forms and checkout
- No transaction fees
Limitations
- One internal user included; each extra costs $8 to $17/mo
- Custom domain needs Pro ($59/mo)
- No AI or automated follow-up
Pricing
Zendo charges by plan, with 1 internal user included and extra users paid monthly. Free covers 3 clients, 1 service and 1GB. Core is $29 a month with unlimited clients and 100GB, and extra users cost $8. Pro is $59, with extras at $12.50. Agency is $99, with 5TB and extras at $17. Annual billing saves up to 20%, bringing paid plans to $25, $49 and $79 a month. The 14-day trial runs on Pro with no card and drops to the free plan afterward.
A 5-person team with 10 clients pays $61 a month on Core: $29 plus four extra users at $8. The free plan is out because it caps at 3 clients. On Pro, for automations and a custom domain, it's $59 plus 4 × $12.50, or $109. On Agency, for full branding removal, it's $99 plus 4 × $17, or $167. On yearly billing, Core is $25 a month; the pages we checked don't list yearly prices for extra users.
Team size drives the bill. A 3-person team pays $45 on Core ($29 plus 2 × $8), $84 on Pro or $133 on Agency. A 15-person team pays $141 on Core ($29 plus 14 × $8), $234 on Pro or $337 on Agency. Clients never change the price on paid plans, which is good for agencies with many small clients.
| Plan | Monthly | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 3 clients |
| Core | $29 | Unlimited clients; extra users $8/mo |
| Pro | $59 | Custom domain, automations |

Integrations: Stripe, Zapier, Make, App embeds (Figma, Google Docs, Calendly).
Who it's for
A good fit if
- Freelancers and agencies selling productized or subscription services
- Teams that want checkout in the portal with no transaction fees
- Businesses that mix packaged offers with custom quotes
- Solo operators who want to start on a free plan
- Agencies that want order forms linked straight from their website
Look elsewhere if
- Larger teams, since every extra user costs $8 to $17 a month
- Bespoke project work without a service catalog
- Teams that want AI or automated client follow-up
- Anyone who needs a custom domain on the $29 plan
- Teams that want Zendo branding removed on a budget, since that needs Agency at $99
Zendo alternatives
ManyRequests$39/moManyRequests includes a custom domain on every plan and adds pinned proofing and time tracking. Pick it if creative approvals matter and you can do without a free plan.
Agency Handy$29/moAgency Handy includes 10 users on its $99 plan, with a service catalog, invoicing and a CRM. Pick it if your team is growing and Zendo's per-user charges add up.
DoraFree, then $10/client/moDora briefs requests and follows up with clients through an AI account manager, with unlimited seats at $10 per client. Pick it if your work is ongoing requests rather than catalog orders.
The verdict
Zendo is a good, low-cost way to sell and deliver productized services. The free plan, order forms you can link from your site, flexible payment rules, automatic subscription billing and no transaction fees cover the commercial side well, and clients can reply by email. Per-user pricing adds up as the team grows, a custom domain needs Pro, and it doesn't do the follow-up for you. For small productized businesses, it's one of the cheapest ways to get started. Do the per-user math before your team grows past three or four people.
